Collection and Use of Personal Information
We are committed to protecting your privacy. The personal information collected on this site is required to manage your laboratory appointment. For users at public health authority facilities, information is collected under the authority of Section 26(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). TSB Healthcare Inc., as the platform operator, handles personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
Your information will only be used by authorized staff for the purpose of scheduling and managing your laboratory visit within LOB - Booking Service. Please note that we do not store any medical records or test results on this system.
LOB - Booking Service is not hosted by the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA). It is a separate service designed to improve patient access to laboratory services.
Personal Information
What is personal information?
Personal information is recorded information about an identifiable individual and would include your name, address, email address and phone number and the selected time for your lab appointment. LOB - Booking Service will not collect any additional information about you, however the web service provider may collect your Internet Protocol (IP address).
Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following third-party service providers to operate the Site. These providers may process your personal information on our behalf and have been engaged with appropriate data protection commitments:
- Google LLC (Google Maps): Laboratory locations are displayed using Google Maps. Your map interaction data may be subject to Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
- Google LLC (Google Sign-In): If you choose to sign in with your Google account, your authentication is handled by Google. We receive only your name and email address. Your use of Google Sign-In is subject to Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
- Apple Inc. (Apple Sign-In): If you choose to sign in with your Apple account, your authentication is handled by Apple. We receive only your name and email address. Your use of Apple Sign-In is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy (apple.com/legal/privacy).

Accessing and Updating Your Personal Information
You can update your Lab Online Booking account information at any time. To update your account information, log into your account and click on the My Account link in the top right corner of the website. This will bring you to the Edit Account page. If you update your email address or phone number, you will receive a notification confirming the change. You can turn off notifications at any time through your account settings. To delete your account, log into your account, click on the My Account link, and then click on the Delete Account link. You will be asked to provide a reason for deleting your account.
Please be aware that account deletion is permanent and irreversible. When your account is deleted, all of your personal information — including your name, email address, phone number, and complete appointment history — is immediately and permanently removed from our systems. In addition, all future booked appointments associated with your account are immediately and permanently cancelled. You will not receive appointment reminders or cancellation confirmations for appointments that existed at the time of deletion. This action cannot be undone.
Authorized lab staff administrators may also delete a patient account on the patient's behalf, for example upon the patient's request or as required by applicable regulations. Account deletion by lab staff has the same permanent consequences as self-deletion: all personal information is irrecoverably removed and all future appointments are permanently cancelled.

Tips For Protecting Your Privacy
- Your email address and password are required to access your Lab Booking Online Account. Do not share your password with anyone.
- Clear your browser history and cache after each use of the Site or use your browser's anonymous browsing mode.
- Use an email account with a name that is not linked to your real name or other information which could identify you.
